AP Calculus AB Description:

This course is an introduction to three calculus concepts: limits, differentiation, and integration. It is a college-level course that requires students to take the AP Exam in the spring. A score of 3 or higher (out of 5) will earn students college credit at most colleges and universities. 

AP Calculus BC Description:

This course focuses on four calculus concepts: limits, differentiation, integration, and polynomial approximation/series. It is a college-level course that requires students to take the AP Exam in the spring. A score of 3 or higher (out of 5) will earn students college credit at most colleges and universities.

Algebra 1 Description:

This course is the foundation for all math courses that students will take for the rest of their mathematical career. Students learn how to solve equations and manipulate algebraic expressions and functions in ways that will help them succeed with the more challenging mathematical content to come.
