 Algebra 1 (Small Group & Co-Taught):                                                                                                                                             

 Algebra I is a yearlong course designed to give the student an understanding of basic algebraic concepts.  Students will explore equations and systems of equations, inequalities and systems of inequalities.  Other topics include polynomials, graphing of first-degree polynomials, the Pythagorean Theorem, and the quadratic formula.  The syllabus includes the appropriate grade-level indicators from the Common Core Standards.  This course is not open to students who have already passed Geometry or any other more advanced course.  A graphing calculator, TI-84, TI-84 plus or TI N-spire, is required for this course.
