Introduction to Business:
This introductory course presents the principles, terminology and concepts necessary for understanding our business systems. The course covers a wide variety of key business concepts including; entrepreneurship, economic activity in our changing world, business ownership and operations, leadership in management, the role of government in our economy, money and financial institutions, marketing, and advertising.
This course is an introduction to the financial world of business and is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of fiscal accounting procedures including the analysis of business transactions, journalizing, posting, adjusting and closing entries, and financial statement preparation. Also included are transactions involving payroll accounting, bank accounts, and cash funds. It is strongly recommended that students wishing to pursue careers in the world of business take a full year of accounting
