MD Classroom Description

In this class, each students curriculum is individually planned based on academic and functional needs as well as input from the IEP team.  Students will receive small group and individual instruction in all academic areas.  Students will also receive small group and individual instruction in functional skills that include daily living skills, self- care skills, and community participation.  Students will attend weekly field trips in the community to help enhance social skills and functioning as well as behavior and money skills.
